Refrigeration Control Panel Wiring and Commissioning

About This Project

Control panel wiring and commissioning for the chiller plant at [LOCATION]. The panel carries the incoming isolator and busbar, HRC fuses, compressor contactors and overloads, and a controller module managing compressor staging, safety interlocks and alarm outputs.

Work covered panel mounting, ferruled and colour-coded control wiring, power terminations to each compressor and fan motor, sensor and transducer wiring back to the controller, and full loop checking before energising. Every core was rung out and tagged against the drawing so a fault can be traced from the panel without opening the machine.

Commissioning included insulation resistance testing, phase sequence and voltage checks, simulation of each safety trip — high and low pressure, oil pressure and flow failure — and verification that the controller staged the compressors correctly against load. Set points and alarm limits were configured to [SET POINTS] and the panel schedule and as-built drawing were handed over with the plant. Panel rating is [PANEL RATING] for [NUMBER OF COMPRESSORS] compressors.
