Package Chillers and Cooling Tower Installation

About This Project

Multiple air-cooled package chillers and a bank of FRP induced-draft cooling towers installed for a manufacturing unit at [LOCATION]. The chillers sit along the plant wall on levelled steel bases, with the cooling towers set on raised concrete plinths outside to keep the discharge air clear of the building.

The work covered positioning and levelling each [CAPACITY] TR package unit, running the chilled water and condenser water headers, fitting isolation valves, strainers and balancing valves at every branch, and connecting the pump sets and tower basins. Pipework was pressure tested and painted to the plant's colour code before insulation. Power and control cabling was routed from the existing panels to each chiller with individual isolators so units can be taken offline independently.

Installation was carried out over [DURATION] with much of the tie-in work done at night to avoid interrupting production. Commissioning covered water balancing across the towers, pump flow verification, refrigerant charging and a full load run to confirm approach temperature and stable condensing pressure on every unit before handover.
