About This Project

Breakdown attendance and servicing of rooftop condensing units at [LOCATION] under a [AMC / CALL-OUT] arrangement. The units serve [APPLICATION], and were attended after a [REPORTED FAULT] was reported on site.

Work covered stripping the casing for access, cleaning the condenser coil and fan assembly, checking the compressor and electrical components, and leak testing the circuit with dry nitrogen to locate the loss. Once the joint was repaired, the system was evacuated under deep vacuum, held to confirm it was tight, and recharged with [REFRIGERANT TYPE] to the manufacturer's stated charge.

Running checks after recharge covered suction and discharge pressures, superheat and subcooling, compressor current draw against nameplate, and the pull-down time back to set point. Pressures and temperatures were logged before and after so the customer has a record of the unit's condition at handover. Star Tech Cooling carries common spares and refrigerant on the service vehicle, so most breakdowns are closed on the first visit rather than needing a return trip.
